Laser Clinic Treatment Planning
The first step is an appointment with our team to develop a skin laser treatment plan. Our custom plans range from laser clinic and medical procedures to peels, facials and skin care advice. Generally included in laser clinic treatments are other modalities such as radiofrequency and IPL.
Radiofrequency has surpassed skin laser treatment effectiveness for some acne scar removal and skin rejuvenation. Radiofrequency is safe for darker skin types, making it a versatile treatment.
IPL is often used in adjunct with skin laser treatment or radiofrequency. However, for lighter skin types it can be the first treatment option. Ipl can be the best treatment for diffuse redness of rosacea and superficial pigmentation due to sun damage in fair skin. It must be used with extreme care (or not at all) in more pigmented skin types. It is vital to understand which tools to use; for whom and for what skin issue.
Laser Clinic Treatments we offer:
Fade uneven pigmentation, with Picocare. Picocare is a second generation picosecond laser that provides cutting edge and safe treatment of a range of skin discolouration. Picocare is safe to use on darker skin types, for melasma and treats dermal pigmentation on the face, neck décolletage and body.
Freckles are another common form of pigmentation that can be treated with IPL or Q Switched Nd YAG lasers such as the Picocare.
The new picocare is also safe and effective for laser treatment of melasma.
Both radiofrequency and lasers such as CO2 are useful for laser skin tightening for mild to moderate skin laxity and fine lines and wrinkles.
Rejuvenate your skin and restore a more youthful appearance. Suitable for a range of skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, acne scars, stretch marks and skin texture changes from sun damage and ageing. We offer Fractional CO2, radiofrequency skin needling, eMatrix and Picocare for laser resurfacing. Radiofrequency through either skin needling or subablative eMatrix are safe to use on skin type 1-6. Fractional Co2 is used for skin types 1-3 and Picocare for skin types 3-6.
Acne Scar Removal.
CO2 lasers address a wide range of scarring, including acne scar treatment. Can be used in combination with other treatments for acne scarring including dermal fillers, TCA cross, subcision and peels. However radiofrequency skin needling is largely supplanting CO2 with a safe, effective treatment that works across all skin types.
The Picocare has four wavelengths including to treat all tattoo colours and is safe for tattoo removal across a wide range of skin types.
Treatment Capillaries, Diffuse Redness and Rosacea.
Lasers and IPL can both be used to address redness. The optimal treatment depends on whether there is diffuse redness or isolated capillaries. Often combinations of procedures are indicated. The diffuse redness is caused by rosacea or sun damage and gives the skin an overall flushed look. Areas of body and face and a wide range of vascular lesions can be treated. IPL for broken capillaries can clear most lesions safely.
Laser Facial or Laser Genesis
Laser Facial or Genesis utilises the low-level laser for bulk heating of the skin, to act as rejuvenation treatment for multiple skin concerns. There is no downtime, so it has become known as the lunchtime treatment. Our team will let you know whether a higher power laser, IPL, peel or other treatment are the more appropriate solution for your skin concerns.
Vaginal rejuvenation for a range of health conditions. Vaginal atrophy, dryness, stress incontinence and laxity can be treated with. Utilising CO2 laser for controlled injury to vaginal wall lining, which stimulates new tissue growth and collagen production. It can help women pre or post menopause, after childbirth or breast cancer survivors.
Medical and Cosmetic Laser Clinic
Our clinic treats medical skin conditions such as acne, acne scarring, hair loss, rosacea & melasma. Mostly, though, our clinic deals with solutions for cosmetic skin concerns such as texture, wrinkles and skin discolouration and tattoo removal. We do not perform laser hair removal.
