How To Treat Blackheads

Treating blackhead with conventional treatments of pore strips, scrubs and facials will not work, except to temporarily extract the contents. Blackheads are caused from a build up of sebum (oil) in the skin pores and blockage of the pore with exfoliated dead skin cells. Being open to air, the sebum and clogged material oxidise and turns dark. Hence the term blackhead.

Salicylic Acid Exfoliates The Pore

BHA (beta hydroxy acid) or Salicylic Acid is oil soluble so it will penetrate the oil in the oil gland and exfoliate the contents and pore lining.

Salicylic acid products needs to be concentration of 1-2% in ph approximately 3.

We sell a very good Salicylic acid gel: Cost $42 for 118ml. This can be applied once or twice daily and progressively exfoliate the surface and skin pore. It is safe to use long term as part of skin routine.

zzz redirected Treatment Of Chest Lines And Wrinkles

IPL can be used to restore an even skin colour to the chest or décolletage while treatments aimed at stimulating collagen such as vitamin A therapy, fractional skin resurfacing or PRP to helps reduce chest or décolletage lines and wrinkles to restore a more youthful appearance.

Changes To The Chest Area Over Time

The skin on the chest or décolletage changes over time mainly from sun exposure. As women, we tend to be good at protecting our faces and not so good at protecting the chest area. The changes to the décolletage progress slowly over years of repeated sun exposure causing loss of tissue elasticity and pigmentation changes.

    Chest Lines And Wrinkles

The appearance of chest lines initially appears worse when you wake in the morning and disappear as the day progresses. (This is caused by sleeping in a position that compresses the skin). With time the lines become fixed and will not disappear during the day. These lines are can also be associated with the gradual change in colour with redness from capillaries or skin pigmentation appearing.

Eye wrinkles treatment depend on where around the eye they occur. Often a combination of treatments with an eye cream, anti-wrinkle injections and sometimes laser or radiofrequency resurfacing depending on the wrinkle depth. Eye Wrinkles Treatment; An Overview

    • The best eye cream; The area around the eye is sensitive and slightly thinner and more vascular than the skin on the rest of the face so the composition of eye creams are often adjusted to compensate. The best eye cream should not be overly heavy nor contain high concentrations of irritating products such as acids of Vitamin A.
    • Anti-wrinkle injections for eye wrinkles; Wrinkles at the side of the eye, also known as crow’s feet are best treated with anti-wrinkle injections. Dermal fillers can at times be used to supplement these treatments.
    • Under eye wrinkles; are more difficult to treat and may require laser therapy.
    • Skin Tightening with radiofrequency or laser helps lessen eye wrinkles and can assist with a non-surgical eye lift.

    What Causes Eye Wrinkles?

Eye wrinkles at the side of the eye develop naturally over time and are caused by repeated muscle movements such as smiling and exacerbated by squinting in the sun and at computers. Anti-wrinkle injections treat these wrinkles by relaxing the underlying muscle and allowing the skin on the surface smooth. If eye wrinkles are addressed before they become fixed the lines can be smoothed entirely.

    What Causes Under Eye Wrinkles?

Under eye wrinkles are formed from a combination of muscle movement and loss of fat volume around the eye. The decrease in volume allows for bunching of skin, as well as creases from muscle movement. Some improvement can be achieved with the use of tear trough fillers and anti-wrinkle injections. If more severe some form of laser resurfacing is required to attain cosmetic correction.

    lip wrinkle treatment[/caption]

Upper lips lines (smoker’s lines) and wrinkles around your mouth can be treated without surgery. We aim for natural rejuvenation so it can be your secret. The biggest fear of women seeking restoration of lip wrinkles with dermal fillers is that we will over plump their lips or make them look like a duck. If you want to have full lips, we can do that too, but for most ladies, it is about rejuvenation to restore a more youthful look.

How Do Upper Lip Lines Form

Upper lip lines form naturally over time from volume loss around the mouth area, decrease in skin collagen and elastin and repeated lip movements. The repeated movement is important, as we use our lips an enormous amount. As we get less young depletion in skin structural elements (collagen and elastin) that support lips and allow our skin to bounce back, means we are more susceptible to damage from movement. It is wear and tear from movement that causes lip lines to deepen and become fixed. Sun damage, smoking and other environmental factors worsen the appearance of wrinkles around the mouth.

Dermal fillers can be used to reduce lip lines, increase lip border definition and return a more youthful appearance.

    Lip Wrinkles Treatment Cost

The cost of treating lines around your mouth depending on the depth and number of wrinkles. Most commonly 1ml of dermal filler is required, but sometimes 2ml is required. Cost of filler starts at 389 per ml.

Men Do Not Get Lip Wrinkles

The reason men do not get lip lines is that of moustaches. The hair growth on the upper lip and lower face in general act as structural support. So the repeated movement does not cause creasing in the skin and prevents lines around the mouth. Another factor is the men also have thicker skin overall, so more collagen as a baseline.

Smoker’s Lines Are Not Always From Smoking.

Smokers lines are not always caused by smoking, but it certainly does increase the incidence of lines around the mouth. In particular, smoking increases upper lip wrinkles that lead to lipstick bleeds, and the reason is multifactorial.

    [caption id="attachment_8264" align="alignleft" width="200"] *results are individual[/caption]

Smoking increases systemic inflammation which increases the risk of premature ageing. However, the act of puffing on a cigarette means repeated pursing of lips, creasing the skin in the same spot and increases the risk of developing lines around your mouth.

Best Wrinkle Filler for Lines Around Mouth

The best filler for lines around the mouth is soft fillers rather than a thick filler. There are many choices available, and individual preference can depend on the cost.
