Hi Kathy, I would go back to the clinic where you had the tear trough filler treatment. We have never seen a reaction to the fillers used in this way, and without seeing it could not offer any specific advise. I hope this has been of help. regards Jo

I had filler put in my under eyes and had a reaction of some sort. I am concerned because I don't want it to last. Is there anything that can make it wear off quick? Maybe laser?

Hi Elizabeth, the best thing is to come in for a free consultation at the outset. We need to see you to say for sure that we can help and what is the best procedure. Generally the "sad eye look" comes from circles under the eyes, but flattening across the cheek area may be the underlying cause. So sometimes treating mid face is the best option. We are located at 688 Gympie Rd Chermside (North Brisbane). Dr Victoria Timchik is our resident expert on tear troughs so I would advise getting an appointment with her Thursday, Friday or Saturday. She will advise on the way to take away the sad look and be able to give optimum treatment time and accurate quote. Call us on 33504625 to book a free assessment consultation. Jo

Hi Jessikah, it is possible that tear trough fillers will help improve the cosmetic appearance of the dark circles, however we need to assess you to say if you are suitable for treatment with fillers. The best person to see is Dr Victoria Timchik as she is our resident expert in tear trough fillers. The assessment is free and without obligation so the best thing is to call us on 33505447 to book a free consultation at the outset.

Hey, well here we go...I'm 19 years old and have always suffered with thin skin under the eyes which is discoloured a darker colour. i wear make up to cover it everyday but the rest of my skin is beautiful just under my eyes has a problem. I think it is genetic but I would like them gone asap because my self esteem has suffered tremendously as a result of dark circles. Is there any treatments? I know there is but I am very uneducated in this area and would like to know what is suitable for a 19 year old to do about this kind of problem. Thanking you :)

Hi Julia, we would need to assess you to say for sure that you are suitable for filler treatment to the dark circles and tear troughs. But you are correct the fillers plump out the indentation and most of the time the appearance of the dark circle or pigmentation decreases with the same treatment. The best thing is to call us on 33505447 to book a free assessment and come in.

The creams gels, eyelifts in bottles do work for either the tear trough hollow or the dark circles however once we assess what is causing the pigmentation we will be able to give you a more informed opinion on how much the fillers will help with this. Jo

Hi - I have both hollows under my eyes and the skin appears pigmented. I've tried every cream on the market but nothing works. I'm assuming that fillers will hollow out the indentation.. can you let me know if there is a treatment also for the pigmentation? Or is the appearance of this reduce also with the application of the filler? thanks

Julia

Hi Kate,
The filler we use to treat dark circles is a hyaluronic acid filler and it is very safe and definitely no incidence of blindness ever from this when treating dark circles or anywhere else on the face. We only use dermal fillers with a very high safety profile, these are temporary fillers (in the tear trough area we would expect they will last up to 2 years) There are some fillers on the market that have significant side effects, but the hylauronic acid fillers are very safe.

Not everyone is suitable for tear trough fillers, so the best thing is to come in for a free assessment consultation at the outset. Our resident expert Dr Victoria Timchik will assess you and determine if they are appropriate for you and be able to give accurate quotes and explain the whole process. Though they are safe to use while you are breast feeding, we generally do not recommend using dermal fillers while you are pregnant or breast feeding. However you can come in for the assessment now and we can discuss this with you.

The assessment is free and without obligation so call us on 33505447 to book a free consultation at the outset. Regards Jo
