What primarily causes the aging appearance of your face?
The most immediate response to this question is wrinkles. However young people have wrinkles as well as less young people. What causes the aging appearance of the face is atrophy of deeper structures. Fat, collagen, elastin and even bone start to atrophy and the skin loosing its deeper support starts to develop folds and deeper lines and as someone said to me recently: your face starts to head south! Charming.
As we age, we lose volume in our face.
As we age, our collagen quantity diminishes and our skin is less able to spring back. We get sagging and deeper folds and lines develope. This ageing process of our appearance can be reversed by a unique collagen regenerating injections, sometimes referred to as “liquid facelift”. This treatment is the first of its kind and represents a new category in non-invasive cosmetic treatments, for people wanting facial rejuvenation with minimal maintenance and long-lasting results. In addition to smoothing wrinkles the ‘liquid facelift’ replaces lost facial volume caused by the aging process.

Frustratingly, with TGA regulations in Australia, it is illegal for us to name any cosmetic fillers on our website. They are class S4 medication to be administered only by a Doctor or Nurse with training. They have TGA approval for cosmetic use and a well established safety profile.

After trying just about every product that promises to have me as youthful as a 12 year old after a month of faithful use, the blog on “Sculptra” has aroused my interest…greatly.
What are the long term effects, as in after several years of use?
Where is this product available?
Regards,
Bix

There are not long term side effects Bix as it acts as a collagen stimulant, it simply improves the quanity and quality of collagen in your skin. There are procedures that need to be followed when injecting, as you need to massage the face daily for 7 days afterwards, to ensure dispersion of the product.
We have a very experienced injector of several years. It is usually best to come in for an assessment (which is free) to assess the best approach for you and go through all of the details. Or we can send out a brochure to you, if you want to find out more first.
Give us a call 33505447 so we can organise a brochure to be sent, or to make an appointment for an assessment.
