Hi Jas, we would need to diagnose the type of skin pigmentation before we can talk about what treatments might be effective. The best thing is to come in for a free assessment and once we know the cause we will be able to discuss your options. There is no obligation with the consultation so call us on 33505447 to book a free assessment at the outset. regards Jo

Hi Kelly, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) can be difficult to treat and is definitely not suitable for IPL or intense pulsed light treatment which can make it worse. We would recommend a combination of prescription treatments and possibly skin needling, which is effective to treat acne scars and settle the hyperpigmentation. The best thing is to come in for a free assessment we will look at your skin and be able to say if you are suitable. There is no obligation with the assessment so call us on 33505447 to book a free consultation at the outset. regards Jo

hi, i have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation(PIH) from acne. i am a dark skinned individual and i was wondering if IPL is suitable for me. will i be more prone to burns or will it result in the spots becoming worse? does IPL also help with the holes acne has left behind? thanks.

Hi Louise, we have very effective and very simple treatment to reduce blackheads and pore size as well as treatment to reduce skin pigmentation from sun damage. The best thing is to come in for a free assessment. Once we assess your skin we will be able to explain the options. There is no obligation with the assessment so it is best to call 33505447 to book a free consultation at the outset. regards Jo

Hi, I have very uneven skin tone, blotching etc, mainly due to sun damage over the years, but I have also noticed that since having my Implanon removed I have even more blotching and redness, especially around that time of the month.

I am now 30, and since I was 14 or so I have had blackheads on my nose and chin area. No matter what I try to treat/remove these with.. nothing will work! After 15 years of this I am sick of it and want them gone. Can any of your treatments remove blackheads?

Thanks,
Lou

Hi Josy, we do scar removal with a technique called skin needling. We would need to assess the scar to be able to give you and idea of what to expect after treatment, how many treatments are required and the cost etc. The consultation is free and there is no obligation so the best thing is to call us on 33505447 to book an assessment at the outset. It would be best to book with Victoria Berrigan. regards Dr Jo

Hi Giselle, we have intense pulsed light treatment which is not best for treating a haemangioma, it is really best to get laser treatment for this. The best thing would be to pop in for a free assessment, we will take a look at it and be able to recommend a good Cosmetic Surgery clinic to treat with laser. regards Jo

Hi,
I have a small haemangioma on my lip that developed when I was pregnant last year. My GP says it was due to all the different hormones. Is this treatable/removable? Also, I am breastfeeding so would this be a problem/should I wait until I am not breastfeeding?
Regards - Giselle.
