Hi Rose, The tubes used for the regen lab is actually just a media to get the platelets to separate, so we can extract the platelet rich plasma (PRP) ie it is not extracted or mixed with the plasma. After we have extracted the platelet rich plasma form the Regen tubes, we then add CaCl, this causes the platelets to release the Growth Factors which are responsible for the rejuvenating effect. I hope this has been of help. Jo

Hello Dr Turner,

I have done some research on the net and have found some very positive results not only cosmetically but medically too. All of the literature and videos however only appear to have the patient’s blood where as Regen mixes the blood with another product. Please can you tell me what the fluid composition is that is in the tubes?

Many thanks,
Rose

Hi Kate,

1. The cost of PRP platelet rich plasma therapy depends on the number of tubes which is dependent on the area to be treated.
You require three treatments spaced monthly to two monthly. Ball park figure for full face (two tubes) is $770 per treatment
2. Platelet rich plasma is used for tissue rejuvenation.
•	Around the eyes
•	Cheeks and Mid face
•	Thinning skin on the neck
•	Jaw Line
•	Back of hands
•	Décolletage
•	Other Body Areas
3. It is Suitable for people 30-80 years of age.
4. Side effects are minimal: Expect minimal swelling, bruising and redness for 12-24 hours.
•	Results are visible at 3 weeks and improve gradually over months with improvement in texture and tone.
•	Advanced wrinkling cannot be reversed and a minimal improvement is predictable in persons with alcohol and tobacco abuse..
•	Severe scarring may not respond.

The best thing is to come in for a free assessment at the outset, we will go through what the procedure involves and what can realistically be expected from the treatment.
There is no obligation with the assessment, so call us on 33505447 to book a free consultation at the outset.
Regards Jo
