Sometimes called the 15 minute nose job this is an excellent, affordable option for people who want to change the shape of their noses but do not want surgery.
The advantages are obvious:
Cost: $990 for non surgical rhinoplasty compared to $5000-$10 000 for surgical rhinoplasty
Results are instant, there is no downtime, no surgery, no anaesthetic and no prolonged healing.

Dr Joanne Turner responded on 28 Feb 2008 at 6:44 pm #
Hi John,
The non surgical nose lift is performed with Radiesse, it can be performed with a variety of fillers, but the Radiesse gives superior longer lasting results.
It is a quick procedure taking 15-30minutes although sometimes it is split between two sessions if there is swelling, so the return session is to fine tune. It is not suitable if you want reduction in size of the nose, but if there is any bumps or deviations, you can reshape the nose to a cosmetically appealing shape. It is also useful for adding more to the tip etc.

Hi
I have a ‘larger than normal’ bump on my nose and have been suffering low self esteem for a long time and been teased all the way through school, im nearly 21 now and im still not confident in myself, and because of it, i have always wanted to get a nose job but feared the pain involved and worried that it might make me look wierd or out of shape. I came across this site and am very interested, i live in Brisbane so its convenient. what can i do about perhaps seeing you or another doctor in your profession that can see me and see if this could work on me? And where abouts is your clinic? Thanks
Yianni
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 01 Mar 2008 at 3:01 pm #
Hi Yianni, The best thing is to come down for an assessment, which is free and without obligation and we can have a look and see if you are a suitable candidate. From what you describe, you may well be. The cost for non surgical nose reshaping is $990. We are located in Chermside 688 Gympie Rd on the corner of Gympie and Wallace Street. regards Jo

Hi, i have a small nose (asian nose) and want to make it higher,,so i was wondering if this non surgical nose job can help me fix my problem…?
Julian responded on 06 Mar 2008 at 8:23 am #
hi, I am interested in your services, in particular a nose job. i am of asian descent, and whilst i am happy about the size of my nose, i would like a higher “bridge”, rather than the typical low profile.
Basically I am looking for a much more “westernised” look. Also would like my eye lids lifted to look more westernised. Is this possible?
Just wondering a ball park figure as to how much this could cost.
Thank you.,
Julian
I live in South Brisbane, so your surgery wld be convienent.

JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING THAT WOULD HELP ME BE ABLE TO REDUCE THE APPEARANCE OF MY TUMMY APRON AS THEY CALL IT. I HAVE NOTICED THAT WHEN I DO PILATES AND YOGA IT HELPS BUT THE FLAP OF SKIN IS STILL THERE. IT WILL COST ME APPROX $6000 TO HAVE THIS DONE AND 5 DAYS IN HOSPITAL AND I WAS JUST WONDERING IF YOUR COMPANY HAS VENTURED OUT IN TO THE OTHER FIELDS OF COSMESTIC SURGERY YET. MIGHT BE A SILLY QUESTION BUT IT NEVER HURTS TO ASK.

Dr Joanne Turner responded on 13 Mar 2008 at 4:42 pm #
Hi Samantha, no unfortunately this does require surgery, it would be wonderful if we could do it without. There is new technology that will give tissue tightening on the abdomen, but by the time you have go significant loosness you really need surgery.

Dr Joanne Turner responded on 16 Mar 2008 at 10:25 am #
Hi Reece, we would need to see you to assess whether you are suitable for non surgical nose reshaping, with wider noses, it is a matter of placement of filler to create a more refined look to the nose, however we do need to see you to be sure that you are a suitable candidate and we can achieve what you want to achieve. The best thing is to book in for an assessment, which is free and without obligation, then we can look at what you want.

Hi Lisa, yes achieving a higher bridge is very possible, in fact very easy. The best thing is to come in for an assessment, which is free we can look at what concerns you and let you know for sure.

Hi Amanda, It sounds like you may need a surgical rhinoplasty, however if you are in Brisbane, come in for a free assessment, we can take a look and let you know for sure. The non-surgical rhinoplasty is good for just about any nose shape concern, except if the need is to reduce the overall size of the nose.

Hello Doctor,
I would like to know I have a flat nose (as I’m Asian) is it possible for me to do the Non Surgical nose job? The surgical cost so much and may takes time to heal. I was just wondering if it will possible to lift my nose up a bit?? Thank you so much for your time.
Kind regard,
Wan
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 29 Mar 2008 at 1:39 pm #
Hi Wan, we have to assess you to be sure what you want to achieve is possible, but yes the non surgical nose job is perfect for obtaining more height in an Asian nose. And yes the cost of the non surgical approach is a fraction of surgical rhinoplasty, with no down time, no prolonged healing. The nose reshaping can be done in stages, which is often ideal with an asian nose, as we do not want to create a nose out of character with the overall facial features. Call us on 33505447 to book for a free consultation Wan and we can go over everything then and you can make your decision with all the facts to hand. regards Jo

Dr Joanne Turner responded on 30 Mar 2008 at 10:18 am #
Hi John, you are right the effect of non surgical rhinoplasty does not last forever, it lasts up to two years. Many people see this as an advantage, if they are happy with the result, which people are, they can elect to turn up every two years and get a treatment. It is more cost effective in the short and long term, as well as taking away the risks of surgical rhinoplasty. Jo

Hi Natasha, we do nose reshaping without surgery, ie non-surgical rhinoplasty. The cost is $990 and at 16 you would need your parents approval, that is they would need to come in for the consultation (this is free) and have a clear understanding, as well as yourself before we would proceed. Discuss it with your parents first.

Jen responded on 22 Apr 2008 at 11:06 pm #
Hi.
If there were to be many sessions, as you indicated would be appropiate for asian noses, does that mean that EACH session is 990? Because just say you had 3 sessions its already about 3000 and then the result only lasts for a maximum of two years.
And my nose is wide and flat.
Would that be suitable?
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 23 Apr 2008 at 7:56 am #
Hi Jen,
The cost of the procedure depends on the volume injected. The usual scenario is one syringe of radiesse, which is enough to do the job for the vast majority of non surgical nose reshaping. In fact we have to date never required more than one syringe. If this takes two sessions, or three(which would be highly unlikely) the cost for the non surgical rhinoplasty is still $990, as we have used only one syringe but spread it over a couple of sessions. The reason we do this, is that sometimes there is swelling with the injection. The swelling is never alot, in fact the procedure is remarkable in that there does not tend to be bruising, it is not that uncomfortable and swelling is minimal. However if we are trying to fine tune the look of your nose, then even a little swelling can start to put us off, so we wait until that little bit of swelling subsides and then fine tune for symmetry, to get the best outcome possible.
In about 50% of cases we have product left from that syringe and with women we will often give them a little bit of a brow lift with the left over product, or put it into the chin for a little enhancement. The cost still remains $990 , as we have used one syringe.
In saying this, with any Asian non surgical rhinoplasty we have done, it has requires the full syringe because it is usually nasal bridge flatness that people have wanted to get more height with, and this requires more product. We could even need to go to a second syringe if there was exceptional flatness, however this has not been the case to date, everyone has been delighted with the change from one syringe. If someone did require a second syringe for one rhinoplasty we would discount this second syringe anyway. The maximum price you would ever have to pay in total would be $1440, however one syringe and $990 to date has been the maximum, and we have performed alot of non surgical rhinoplasty since introducing it.
I hope this has clarified things Jen, I know it is a bit of an essay. The best thing is to come in for a consult, we can assess what is happening with your nose and discuss concerns further. The assessments are free and without obligation. Call us on 33505447 if you want to book for a free assessment.

I really wish the results would last forever though since I am so happy with the results and was wondering if you would ever consider using Artefill within the next year or two?
Thanks and talk to you soon,
Marie
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 24 Apr 2008 at 11:19 pm #
Hi Marie, Thanks for feedback on the website, universally we have had enormously positive response since introducing the non surgical nose reshaping (it is a relatively new procedure in Australia, but used longer in the States), from our perspective a really feel good experience because like you, everyone to date, and we have done allot of procedures since introducing this, and so many happy people. Despite popular belief about cosmetic clinics we actually aim for positive outcomes, and the non surgical rhinoplasty is probably our absolute number one in client outcome satisfaction of all time. Maybe because before this new procedure the alternative of surgery was quite daunting. So yes we will continue to develop this skill within the clinic and look at other options.
Next time you are in BrisVegas drop in to say hi. I will pass this on to Sue, she will be stoked.
Regards Jo

Hi Joe,
The filler we use for non surgical rhinoplasty is Radiesse. We are not in the states, however I would suggest doing a google search for non-surgical rhinoplasty with your location to come up with Doctors locally who do the non surgical rhinoplasty. Dr Renee Rivkin in Los Angeles pioneered the non surgical rhinoplasty, so his office could be a good starting point to help you find a Doctor local to you. I hope this has been of help.

Hi Zaara, we have had no side effects from non surgical rhinoplasty, the radiesse has in fact got a fantastic safety profile, which is one of the things we love about it, beside the great results we get. There can be a little swelling that lasts a couple of days, and I mean very little, and we have only once had a bruise, from all the procedures we have done that is really very impressive.

Hello
I have a bump on the bridge of my nose. I was interested to know how the procedure works in removing the bump and any possible side effects.
Thank you
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 30 Jul 2008 at 6:06 pm #
Hi Julia, yes the majority of treatments we do are to disguise bumps or a hook appearance in the bridge of the nose. It is really hard to get your head around how we can do this non surgically. The best thing is to look on YouTube, which has a series of videos (including some from Dr Alex Rivkin who pioneered these procedures) on non surgical rhinoplasty. The really stunning thing about the treatment is that the product has an impeccable safety record.
The product is very malleable after injection, so even if we do put a little too much somewhere we push it back into place, not that this is the way we approach nose reshaping, we are a little perfectionist about it. You have a mirror as we inject, so you can participate in the decision about where the product goes if you wish (which most people want, because they have clear ideas about the outcome they desire). The best thing, call us on 33505447 to book a free consultation, we will look at what concerns you and in the appointment give you a clear understanding of what we can achieve with non surgical nose reshaping.
Janice responded on 31 Jul 2008 at 11:41 pm #
Hello
The filler that is currently being used here is temporary which lasts only of a maximum of 2 years. I was wondering if you also use or will be using a permanent filler eg. artefill.
Thanks
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 01 Aug 2008 at 6:04 am #
Hi Janice, we do not currently use the permanent fillers and are waiting to see how safe they are in this context. There have been concerns with the permanent fillers and reactions after wards, not specifically related to non surgical nose reshaping but when used in other parts of the face. As we do not want to cause problems for people we will wait until the safety of permanent fillers has been established for non surgical rhinoplasty, in fact we are not entirely happy at present with the issue of safety of permanent fillers full stop. I know the thought of a permanent solution is appealing, however because it is permanent, if there is a problem, that is permanent as well. If you want to consider permanent fillers, I would advise at least getting a temporary one first, make sure you are happy with the results you can achieve, if this lasts two years, by then there should be more studies on permanent fillers for non surgical rhinoplasty. Regards Jo

Hello,
I am wondering once the filler is injected and the nose reshaped, does it SET in that shape until eventually absorbed by the body over 2years (like concrete if you like). I play a lot of sport and am concerned that if I am hit in the nose heavily or even slightly, will this change the shape instantly, and need to come back for another session?
Thankyou
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 04 Sep 2008 at 5:39 pm #
Hi Dianne, once the non surgical rhinoplasty filler has stabilised there is no risk of displacing it, as the bodies own collagen comes in and wraps around it. In the initial 2 weeks you would not want to get any bumps etc and even up to 6 weeks be a bit careful, but after that all is fine.

Dr Joanne Turner responded on 19 Sep 2008 at 12:00 pm #
Hi Janet, the non surgical rhinoplasty is perfectly suited for an asian nose which requires the bridge to be built higher. The assessment is free for all non surgical rhinoplasty. The cost for non surgical rhinoplasty generally is $990, however sometimes with Asian nose reshaping more than one syringe might be required, depending on how much building up is required. It is really best to see us to get an accurate quote, we will check out your nose and go through everything at that time. Call us on 33505447 to book a free consultation.

Hi Mick, yes this is exactly what happens the treatment slowly wears off over a course of time, and you get the top up when you feel you need it. We would need to assess your nose to say for sure if the non surgical rhinoplasty approach would help. But yes call us on 33505447 to book a free consultation. regards Jo

Hi Dr Turner,
I am interested in this procedure too and live in Melbourne. Could you please email me the information for the clinic you recommend in Melbourne?
Also, a question, I have read from some of your previous responses to call the clinic and ask for their prices. Your clinic charges $990 (in most cases) - is there a “limit” to what I should accept for the procedure. What I mean is - is there a price range which you would deem acceptable for this procedure? I don’t want to get taken advantage of.
Thank you very much.

Can you please provide me with a clinic in Perth that uses the same filler for the non-surgical nose job.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Dr Turner,
I also live in Melbourne and am very interested in this procedure, however i am not sure it would be benificial for me as i have a wide nose that i want turned up and to look smaller.
If you could please recommend a clinic locally or even another way for an assessment, as i would be willing to fly to brisbane for the treatment if i were a suitable candidate.
Thank you

Hi, I have been told I have a deviated septum which requires a Septorhinoplasty. Would your procedure be suitable for my situation? Also is there a medicare rebate available?
Kind Regards
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 04 Nov 2008 at 9:56 pm #
Hi Peter, The Non surgical rhinoplasty cannot do anything for the internal structure of the nose. it is used for cosmetic correction only. So it can be used to fix deviations or asymmetry on the outside as well as just about any cosmetic concern for the shape of the nose but it will do nothing to correct a deviated septum. this does require surgery. Isla responded on 12 Nov 2008 at 6:49 pm #
Hi Dr Turner,
I have had two rhinoplasty’s. And am still quite unhappy I had to have a dermal graft put into the bridge of my nose which has left a bump and dint on the top and down the left hand side giving the illusion of a crooked nose. Am I a candidate for a surgery free rhinoplasty, I don’t want to go through surgery again and actually wished that I knew of this procedure before.
Thanks
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 13 Nov 2008 at 7:28 am #
Hi Isla, we would need to see you to say for certain if you are eligible, but a big part of the non surgical nose treatments we do is repair after surgical rhinoplasty. To date we have been able to help all but one person. The best thing is to call us on 33505447 to book a consultation. We only do the non surgical rhinoplasty on Wednesday, but have opened up Saturday 13th December exclusively because of the exceptional demand for the treatment at present. Jo

Joseph Solano responded on 26 Jan 2009 at 11:08 pm #
hello
I had a nose job over 10 years ago to correct a deviated septum and straighten a ‘roman’ nose…. The results were disapointing: The ‘hook’ was replaced with an asymetrical dip and my septum was perforated.
Two years later I undertook another procedure to correct the deviated septum (with a different surgeon, an ENT) My airway was completly restored however the perforation could not be closed.
I was wondering if the ‘hollow dip’ just above the tip (from the first procedure)could be filled to build a straight profile rather than the awkward dip that now exists?
Also, does having a perforated septum impact on this procedure in any way??? Or rather, could this procedure further weaken the structure of the septum or increase the size of perforation in any way?
Your advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m anxious to have the profile improved :))
Thanks Joe
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 06 Feb 2009 at 1:08 pm #
Hi Joe,
The short answer is yes a non surgical rhinoplasty can be used to correct the hollow dip to improve the cosmetic appearance and create a cosmetically straight profile. The problem is that the perforated septum may well make it impossible to use the filler. In this case I would go back to the ENT surgeon who corrected the septal deviation, as he will have an understanding of where the perforation is and he should be up to date on the latest in filling cosmetically on the surface and be able to advise the best way to proceed. I am sorry I cannot be of greater assistance at this point.

Hi Dr Jo
I think that my nose is ok, it looks big at the moment because I have a teeny tiny jaw. I was doing research into jaw augmentation but can’t find 1 Dr in the whole of Australia who does it!
I know that there is a Dr in Beverlyhills who uses injectables to give the jaw definition and was wondering if you have ever done the same treatment, or know a Dr in Australia who has. This method of Jaw Augmentation seems to be quite similar to the nose reshaping which is why I thought I’s ask.
Thanks Doc!
Regards,
Buzz
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 20 Feb 2009 at 8:35 pm #
Hi Buzz, We would have to assess you to say if a non surgical approach is possible to augment your jaw, is it the chin area that concerns you? We use fillers to augment most parts of the face. Cheek augmentation , nose reshaping and chin augmentation are the most common.

hey there. sorry ive enquired before about the “non surgical nose job” but accidently deleted the email so was wondering again if there are any other costs with the procedure and how long in advance u need to book the proceedure in.
how lon approximately will it take to heal so there is no bruises and u can return to normal activites. thank u
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 20 Mar 2009 at 7:15 am #
Hi Tamara, The cost for the ‘non surgical nose job’ is $990 and that is the only cost with it Tamara. The assessment for the procedure is free so you can come in and let us look at your nose, we go through all of what to expect as well as make sure your nose is suitable for non surgical rhinoplasty procedure. You can return to normal activities immediately although you need to be careful not to get your nose bumped etc but there is remarkably little bruising or swelling. In fact you will notice a little redness and minimal swelling that settles very quickly. Call us on 33504625 if you wish to come in for a free assessment consultation. regards Jo
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 02 Apr 2009 at 11:51 am #
Hi Emma, The non surgical nose job is not permanent, it lasts around 12months, though the product is still in the skin for up to two years. We have a very high satisfaction rate with the non surgical nose procedure. The best thing if you are interested is to come in for a free assessment consultation to assess if the procedure is right for you. We go through all to expect with the treatment at that time. Call us on 33505447 if you wish to book.
regards Jo

hi i would like to know if the non surgery will help to reduce the size of the nose slightly smaller? I’ve a rather big nose (asian) but Im scared of the surgery pain procedures and I just want my nose to be slightly smaller, like about 10 to 20% smaller.
Thanks.
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 17 Jul 2009 at 1:17 pm #
Hi Lyn, the non surgical rhinoplasty will not do anything to reduce the size of the nose, it is appropriate for most nose concerns and does tend to make the nose look smaller, as it is used to cosmetically balance the nose shape and disguise hooks, bumps etc, however if you do want to reduce the size of your nose surgical rhinoplasty is the only option. regards Jo

Dr Joanne Turner responded on 22 Jul 2009 at 11:52 am #
Hi Kameron, noses that are slightly crooked are generally ideal for non surgical rhinoplasty, however we do need to assess you to say for certain. The cost of non surgical rhinoplasty is $990 and we are located in Chermside North Brisbane. The assessments are free and without obligation so it is best to call on 33505447 to book a free assessment at the outset.

Hi there. I have a wide-ish nose and would like it slimmer, i also have a small bump on the bridge at the top but very small and would like this to be straight with the bridge but not to make my nose bigger. But i’m not sure exacly it is what i want, i just dislike my nose and would like it to be smaller at the tip, rounded off perhaps since it curves up slightly. Do you think it may be possible to have non surgical rhinoplasty? I’m from melbourne, would you be able to give me details of where a clinic may be. thanks

Hi Dr Jo.
I know that a few 16 year old girls asked a smiliar thing, but I am 17. I am turning 18 in December this year and am interested in a consultation to see if I am a suitable candidate for such procedures. If i was suitable, I would only proceed with surgery after my 18th birthday. If i came for the consultation while i was 17 (with the intention of the procedure commencing after I was 18) would I still need my parents to accompany me? Thanks for your time.
Bek
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 18 Sep 2009 at 8:40 am #
Hi Bek, no you are fine to come in by yourself, as when you are 18 you can consent to the non surgical rhinoplasty yourself. It is a good idea to come in now and find out if you are suitable for the non surgical approach, what the procedure involves and then you have a time to think about it and decide if you want to proceed. Call us on 33505447 to book a free assessment consultation at the outset. Jo

Dr Joanne Turner responded on 21 Sep 2009 at 9:06 am #
Hi Aziz, the non surgical rhinoplasty is good to correct deviations in the nose, however you do need to be assessed to say for sure if it will help correct what is happening with your nose. Unfortunately I do not have any contacts for clinics in India. The product we use is Radiesse, so the best thing would be to do a google search with local area to find a clinic close to you.
Kale Mcleod responded on 23 Sep 2009 at 11:49 am #
Hey Joanne,
I’ve been reading alot of comments on this page, and it sounds like you’re doing a good thing
The thing about my nose, is that i’ve inherited my fathers skinny upturn scottish nose (which is good), but i’ve also inherited my mothers irish bump on the nose, as well as my nose appears to be bent (which is bad). When i look in the mirror it all appears normal, and there seems to be no evidence of a curved nose, but looking at pictures and videos of myself, it is quite evident that there is one. Depending on what angle you look at my nose from, i can look like an entirely different person from both sides - one side is attractive - the other is not. But i know when i look in the mirror, it is not what other people see, and knowing what other people really see, leads me to feel insecure - depending on which side people see me from. As a 19 year old male, this should be the prime of my life, and not a time of self conscious. I was wondering if it were possible to straighten up the nose, and rid the bump?
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 23 Sep 2009 at 12:45 pm #
Hi Kale, It sounds as if you would be a perfect candidate for non surgical rhinoplasty as it is very good for refining the appearance of bumps or lumps as seen from a profile or three quarter view. The best thing is to call us on 33504625 to book a free assessment consultation at the outset, there is no obligation with this, but then we can assess if you are suitable. Jo

Dr Joanne Turner responded on 19 Oct 2009 at 9:16 am #
Hi Jane, You will need to be 18 before you can consent to getting a non surgical rhinoplasty. The effect of the filler is to increase the height of the bridge, and we have many people of Asian descent coming to have the procedure done. It is especially suitable because it does not change the characteristics, but does give height to the bridge. The changes are temporary and the result of it is noticed immediately after injection. I hope this has been of help. regards Dr Jo Turner

Hi Dr Turner,
The problem with my nose is twofold; one, it has a bump on the bridge, and two, it is stlightly too wide especially at the bottom.
Do you think this procedure would be suitable for me?
Thanks,
Peta
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 27 Oct 2009 at 1:52 pm #
Hi Peta, it sounds like you would be perfect for non surgical rhinoplasty. It is excellent for smoothing bumps in the bridge and using product down the centre gives a refined look. We would need to see you to say for certain, but we do free assessments and there is no obligation with this. The best thing is to call us on 33505447 to book a free consultation at the outset. regards Jo

Hello Dr,
I am very interested in this new procedure it sounds great. I was wondering however, after reading many of these comments, and your replies, whether it is possible to use this procedure to make an upturn and rather “flared” nose look less obtrusive.
Can i make it less upturned and less flared with this procedure?
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 03 Nov 2009 at 11:26 am #
Hi Jules, with the non surgical rhinoplasty it is possible to make it look less upturned from the profile, but not from the front view and unfortunately we cannot do anything to make a ‘flared nose’ less obstrusive. The best thing is to come in for a free assessment when we see your nose we will be able to show you exactly what we can achieve. However if it is purely the front view you want changed it does not sound as if we can help. Jo

I’m going to eventually get a chin implant, but for now am considering getting a temporary filler. Is it really worth it for the chin?

Dr Joanne Turner responded on 12 Jan 2010 at 1:32 pm #
Hi Vanessa, the way non surgical rhinoplasty works is to correct imbalance, so though it cannot as you point out make a nose narrower or lift the droop, placement of product acts as an illusion to rebalance. I know it is hard to phathom, and not everyone is suitable for the procedure. We need to assess your nose to be able to say if we can help and also at the time we can explain further how the procedure helps. I hope this has been of help. If you wish to come in for a free assessment consultation call us on 33505447. regards Jo
