I am looking for a clinic to get microdermabrasion in Brisbane. Where in Brisbane are you located and how long will it take me to get an appointment. I am getting married next March and have large pores and blackheads I want to clear up. Someone told me that microdermabrasion is a really good way to clear these. Does microdermabrasion work for pigmentation as well and how does it work?

Hi Louise, we are located in Chermside North Brisbane. Yes microdermabrasion is excellent to clear blackheads and enlarged pores. As an added bonus we do full extractions with a steamer if needed during the process. We look at microdermabrasion as a true deep cleansing and exfoliating therapy. It not only will treat the pores and blackheads but refine the health your skin so it will look more vibrant. We have a lot of women who have a series of microdermabrasion leading up to their wedding, just to make sure their skin is in optimum health for the day. It can have some impact on pigmentation, however something like IPL is really better for this.
