Hi Rema, yes we are fast finding out there are not many clinics in Brisbane that can perform hair removal on dark skin. We can treat any skin type, specifically for your query we can safely remove hair on skin type 4 and above: people of Italian, Greek and other Mediterranean origin, Asian, Middle Eastern and Indian descent (any ethnic origin with more pigmented skin). We have a specific treatment head that is safe to use on dark skin. Usually the intense pulsed treatment head for hair removal penetrates on the surface and hence can effect the normal skin pigment. With our red hand piece there is very little absorption at the surface of the skin, but it penetrates deeper to attach to hairs in the follicle. With usual intense pulsed light or IPL for permanent hair removal treatment in people with darker skins can result in burns etc. Our hand piece is SAFE. Hair removal in people with dark skin usually requires more treatments and extreme caution, but we are very experienced in this hair removal. I look forward to meeting you. Jo

I am so excited to find you. I have been searching for a clinic in Brisbane that does permanent laser hair removal on dark skin. I have a lot of hair for a woman, dark hair just about everywhere and seem to spend my whole life waxing and shaving. I really do not have the time, even if I can get it removed from really obvious areas so I do not always have to worry what to wear based on if I have waxed recently. I have rung so many clinics who said they cannot perform hair removal on people with darker skin tones. I will call to make an appointment but I wanted to know why you are able to remove hair on dark skin when no one else can? Thankyou Rema
