Intense pulsed light therapy (IPL) can eliminate facial capillaries.
Intense pulsed light treatment is effective in treating facial capillaries. It is usually possible to remove all traces of these unsightly blemishes. At the very least you can expect a reduction in size and amount of facial capillaries and a more even skin tone.
The amount of treatments required is individual however it will usually take four treatments to see a progressive fading of the unsightly facial capillaries.

Do you have any “offices” in the Sydney area, and if so where?

Hello
I have had the capilleries on my nose removed about 6 years ago, however I have broken my nose since then and the veins have reappeared.
I would like to find out how much the laser treatment is, if possible.
Thank you
Louise
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 13 Nov 2008 at 7:34 am #
Hi Louise, the treatment for capillaries or veins on the nose is around $160. We would need to assess you to ensure that we are able to treat and would go through the whole process with you at the time. The initial assessment is free so call us on 33505447 to book a consultation as a starting point. regards Jo

Please can you advise me as to how I can getrid of broken capilleries on my face. Besides light is there an alternative way for example essential oils.
Thank you!
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 06 Feb 2009 at 12:47 pm #
Hi Jacqueline,
Some essential oils could in fact make facial capillaries worse because it can cause irritation so best to avoid these.
The best treatment is pulsed light treatment, a pulse of light applied to the skin is absorbed into the red of the blood vessels, which heats up and progressively destroys them.
Generally 4 treatments are required spaced weekly and the cost of this depends on the area to be treated. Removing nose vessels might cost $160 for example. We need to assess the area to give accurate quotes. The assessment is free and without obligation so the best thing is to book in with Serina and she will explain everything for you and go through the whole process as well as be able to give an accurate quote.
Call us on 33504625 to book a free consultation at the outset.
regards Jo

Hi Jason, we are located in Brisbane and I am not familiar with the price range for IPL for capillaries and pigmentation in Sydney. Sorry I could not help more, perhaps do a search with Sydney/ IPL/Capillaries/ pigmentation and see if you can find a IPL clinic closer to home.
