Excessive underarm sweating is a medical condition known as Axillary Hyperhidrosis. Though it seems simple to non-sufferers, sweating to excess really messes with people’s heads. Imagine always worrying:
‘when will I start sweating, what to wear and can anyone see?’
Over recent years, injections have become a simple and effective means to stop unprovoked underarm sweating. The injections also used for cosmetic treatments quickly and effectively stop the need for constant armpit checks.
Imagine No Sweat - what a relief.
Email us if you want to know more about specific products.
Frustratingly, with TGA regulations in Australia, it is illegal for us to name any injection treatments on our website. They are class S4 medication to be administered only by a Doctor. They have TGA approval for hyperhidrosis and a well established safety profile.

could you please tell me the cost of the treatment for underarm sweating.
I have to wear shirts every day for work, and have to always wear white, but that still doesnt help!
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 02 Oct 2008 at 4:04 pm #
Hi Kane the cost for injections to stop underarm sweating is $990. This should last 6-12 months, so you might need treatment once or twice per year to keep the excessive sweat at bay. Call us on 33505447 if you wish to come in for a free consultation. regards Jo

Caz responded on 23 Oct 2008 at 4:18 pm #
Hi, I was wondering will this stop you from sweating out toxins altogether for example if working out in the gym? Or just reduce the amount of sweat?
Regards
Caz
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 23 Oct 2008 at 5:46 pm #
Hi Caz, you will sweat normailly in other parts of your body, so it is perfectly safe, but what it does is stop the abnormal excessive sweating under the arms. I will email you some details of the treatment. Jo

Im sixteen and i have had this condition for three years. Is it true that hyperhidrosis is not a temorary condition and that it will get worse as i get older?
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 24 Oct 2008 at 3:52 pm #
Hi Cate, it may not get worse, but it is not temporary. Hyperhidrosis of the armpit unfortunately is permanent. I will email you details, but you will need to get you parents to contact me and organise an appointment. regards Dr Jo Turner
shaz responded on 24 Oct 2008 at 4:59 pm #
hello,
i was wondering if this is useful on the face, I am always sweating on my upper lip, nomatter what I do, it even removes my makeup! Can you please help!
Shaz
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 25 Oct 2008 at 4:18 am #
Hi Shaz, the treatment can be used on the face but more traditionally it has been used around the hairline etc. With the underarm sweating it is very straight forward and successful to stop the sweating, however on the face we need to be a little more cautious. I would need to assess you clinically to answer this question. Call us on 33505447 to book a consultation. Jo
