Marionette lines are easily removed without surgery using dermal fillers. The reason our face takes on a aged appearance is from volume loss as we get less young and sagging of the skin because of gravity.
In some areas facial skin is attached to deeper structures with fibrous connections. Marionette lines develop from folding of the skin around fibrous attachments in the mouth and chin area.

“Dermal fillers replace the volume loss between the mouth and chin area. The result: a younger and happier looking face.”
Email us if you want to know more about specific products.
Frustratingly, with TGA regulations in Australia, it is illegal for us to name any cosmetic fillers on our website. They are class S4 medication to be administered only by a Doctor or Nurse with training. They have TGA approval for cosmetic use and a well established safety profile.

Please will you send me information and details in relation to Marionette lines. Thanks. Christian
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 18 Feb 2008 at 11:58 pm #
Basically to remove marionette lines without surgery requires fillers and the type and amount required depends on how much volume loss you have. I can give you estimated ball park figure, but to be really accurate we would need to see you to assess what is going on with you. The cost would be between $550 and $1440 . If you require just the marionettes addressed, it is highly unlikely that it would be the $1440 figure, but I am giving you the high end approximation..
The best thing really is to come in for assessment, which is free and without obligation and then we can assess the volume loss and discuss you options and give you really accurate figures. You can make up your mind from there with all the facts at hands.

Hi I was wondering how long does the treament last for.
I have frown lines and marionette lines.
How much approx. will it cost.
Regards May
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 27 Mar 2008 at 5:47 pm #
Hi May I will email you so I can discuss the treatment options, and approximate pricing. The filler used in the photo on this page is radiesse and this lasts up to two years, the cost depends on how much volume loss you have. Come in for an assessment, which is free and without obligation and we can see what concerns you and be more accurate. regards Jo

Would like some more information (costs, duration etc) and how to contact you in Brisbane
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 29 Mar 2008 at 8:59 am #
The filler used to treat the marionettes and nasolabial lines is Radiesse a long lasting filler, that gives immediate results. So it is injected and the correction happens immediately but lasts up to two years.
The amount of filler you require depends on the volume loss, and so the price is dependent on this. With lesser loss another filler may be appropriate. The best thing is to come in for an assessment which is free and without obligation, we can have a look at what concerns you and outline your options, the cost and then you can make a decision if you want to proceed from there. We tend to like people to have time to think things through and not rush any cosmetic, especially first time procedures.
Call us on 33505447 to book for a free consultation. We are open one Saturday per month, which is next Saturday and later evening on Wednesday if this helps.
