As we get less young, sun damage takes its toll on the chest or decolletage causing wrinkles and creases. Initially they appear on waking and reduce during the day. However with time they become fixed.
Until recently there were no treatment options for chest wrinkles. In 2008 a new wrinkle filler was introduced into Australia that is specifically indicated for chest wrinkles. The filler requires three treatments and achieves rejuvenation to get rid of chest wrinkles.
Email us if you want to know more about specific products.
Frustratingly, with TGA regulations in Australia, it is illegal for us to name any cosmetic fillers on our website. They are class S4 medication to be administered only by a Doctor or Nurse with training. They have TGA approval for cosmetic use and a well established safety profile.

Dr Joanne Turner responded on 10 Apr 2008 at 3:05 pm #
Hi Karen, We are in the process of setting up a finance plan, where by you can get your treatments and then pay it off over 12 months or so. So you have contacted us at the right time.
It is impossible to say how much it will cost until we have a look at you and what treatment option would be most appropriate. The forehead wrinkles would probably cost around $275. Across the cheek you would need a filler of some sort and the price of this depends on the volume loss and the best product. Fillers start from $350 per syringe and can go right up to $1100, so you see it is exceedingly variable.
The best thing is to come in for an assessment, which is free and without obligation, we will have a look at what is concerning you, outline your options, give accurate quotes and you can go away and think about it, how it fits in with your budget and if you want to take up the financing plan.
Call us on 07 33505447 to book for a free consultation.

Hi Lindsay, I will email you to let you know the treatments we use to get rid of chest wrinkles. The treatment costs $935 for a series of three treatments, which you get monthly, or $352 per treatment. It acts to hydrate the wrinkles, as well as stimulating new collagen growth for longer healing benifits.
The best thing is to come in for an assessment, this is free and without obligation, we will go through everything with you at that time, assess what it going on and make sure that you are suitable. If you want to get your chest wrinkles improved before the wedding however, you will need to start quickly.
Regards Jo

Dear Dr Turner,
I am only 23 and have fine lines on my chest. I have been to several beauticians and tried microdermabrasion with no results. Can you treat/ reduce fine lines or only with deep wrinkles? This condition is impacting terribly on my self esteem and I am worried it will only get worse with time.
Do you have any procedures that can help me? And if so how long do they last?
Many Thanks
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 06 Jul 2008 at 7:35 pm #
Hi Karen, No the treatments will work whether the chest wrinkles are deep or very early. I know it is an area that women particularly stress about so you are not alone. The best thing is to call us on 33505447 to come in for a free assessment, we will take a look and confirm whether the fillers will help with your chest wrinkles and go through the whole process with you.

Dear Dr Turner
Six months ago I started to develop lines in the cleavage area between my breast. They are now begining to look crepe and unsightly and they are begining to creep higher up my chest. wearing a bra makes them worse too. I have tried all sorts of products reccommended by specialists but they don’t work. I have been for consultations and nobody will take me serious and its all very upsetting for me. Also when I wake up in the morning, my chest is covered in lines. They slowly wear of as the day goes on but I just know they will eventually stay. I can’t wear the tops that I would like as I am too self conscious.
I am 27 years of age and live in the Uk. I was wondering if the treatment you offer is available in England? I would be very greatful for any advice that you could offer me.
Many thanks.

Hi Sarah, I wonder if the specialists you have see were men (not meant to be sexist) but they do not seem to understand how distressing it is for women to slowly develop chest wrinkles. We just want beautiful smooth youthful chests: is that such a big ask? I will email you with the details of the product we are using Sarah, I cannot mention it on this site with our regulations in Australia and then you will be able to do a Google search to find someone closer to home to rejuvenate your chest area. Also it is useful to try combination treatments.
1. We sometimes use combination treatments of IPL and fillers which seem to give the best results as the IPL not only removes sun damage, but also stimulates collagen production. If the IPL is performed one month after filler treatments it also boosts the collagen production.
2. Fraxel lasers are also useful, though for the expense of these treatments I am not convinced the outcome is that great.
3.After the course of IPL I will always follow up with prescription collagen stimulants: getting some fantastic results, though we mainly treat women in their 30′ and 40’s. It is important to know that all of the treatments for chest rejuvenation work progressively over months.

Dear Dr Turner
Thank you so much for your time and advice. The information you have given me is extremely useful and i’m in the process of researching these products. I will keep you updated of the outcome.
Kind regards, Sarah

Hi Sarah, Thankyou for taking the time to write back, I had just another thought, you have Boots No 7 protect and perfect range in the UK. The research on this shows it stimulates collagen and reverses photo aging. We do not have this in Australia, so I had our own serum developed with the active ingredient 6% palmitoyl pentapeptide. Because this product has low irritation and stimulates collagen, it is worth trying this product to improve the skin health. Though it is generally used on the face, we have women who use it on their face, neck and chest. Worth a go.

Hi Dr Turner
I Sent you a message about two months ago for advice on the best treatment for chest lines. I found a cosmetic company that offers the treatment that you reccommended. After a consultation with the specialist, I booked a course of four treatments. I have had one treatment so far but don’t notice any results. I know its early days and have three more treatments to go but was just wondering if it is usual not to notice any difference after the first treatment? I’m just scared that i’m wasting my money. I would be greatful for your feed back.
Regards, Sarah

Hi Dr Turner,
I sent you an email about a week ago but I havent had a reply. I was wondering if there is a treatment for deep chest wrinkles, they start between my chest and continue towards my collar bone in a type of v shape. I have been for some consultations but have been to that there is really nothing worth while trying. Can you advice me please.
Thanks
Dr Joanne Turner responded on 14 Sep 2008 at 3:35 pm #
Hi Sarah, I cannot vouch for the treatment you are receiving, however with our treatment it is not until after the second treatment that you see improvement in the chest wrinkles, we always go for combination treatment to improve the outcome. Jo
