Acne Treatment

Acne affects more than 80% of teenagers and many adults.

There is no miracle cure for acne; however a thorough treatment plan with skin care, prescription treatments and physical therapies can settle acne and prevent scarring. Dr Ansulette Kay consults on treatment of acne.

  • Prescription medical treatments can help to treat acne.
  • Skin care and prescription creams can be used to unblock pores and reduce inflammation.
  • Topical and oral antibiotics can be used for infected acne lesions.
  • Severe acne requires referral to a dermatologist.

  • Acne Assessments Are Claimable From Medicare.

Hi Gourav, the initial consultation with Dr Ansulette will cost $65 (you will get over half of this back on Medicare). The best thing is to book in with her and she will come up with a treatment plan for you. Call us on 33505447 to book this assessment at the outset. regards Dr Jo
