    Mineral Makeup As Camouflage

Mineral Makeup Perfect To Camouflage Broken Capillaries And Rosacea

Youngblood mineral makeup is made from naturally mined minerals and pigments that are ground to produce a light powder. They come in either a powder or liquid form: which is moisturising and more appropriate for less young skin.

Youngblood mineral makeup is entirely natural and perfect for camouflaging
broken capillaries and redness of rosacea.

  • does not create a heavy ‘make up’
  • feels light on the skin
  • Youngblood mineral makeup is appropriate for:

  • Someone with normal skin who wants a natural soft makeup cover.
  • Someone who needs makeup that will not not sweat off but still allows the skin to breath
  • Camouflaging broken capillaries or redness of rosacea for a natural even skin tone. (It can also be used on neck and chest area for sun damaged reddening.)
  • Camouflaging acne blemishes: mineral makeup is safe to use in people prone to blemishes, or suffering from acne as it DOES NOT CLOG PORES
  • Camouflaging pigmentation for a beautiful natural skin tone.

How to get rid of crepy skin and wrinkly hands.

The skin on the back of the hands takes on a crepy wrinkly appearance as we age because of loss of fat under the skin as well as sun damage to the skin itself. No amount of moisturising can make up for what is essentially volume loss in the hands. For younger looking hands you will require cosmetic filler treatments to replace the lost volume.

The hands have less fatty tissue under the skin to start with, so with the natural loss of subcutaneous fat as we age, the hands tend to age more prominently, taking on a boney veiny appearance with wrinkly and crepy skin.

Dermal fillers replace volume loss and plump aged hands.

Several dermal fillers are now being injected into the backs of the hands to replace volume loss and create a more youthful plumpness to the skin.

    Acne Scar Treatment With Needling

Medical skin needling is an affordable treatment to improve acne scarring.

Acne scarring causes considerable distress as well as contributing to premature aging of the skin. Skin Needling provides effective treatment for depressed Acne Scars and cosmetic improvement.

    Acne Scarring Treatments Brisbane

    What is skin needling?

Skin needling is a procedure that uses a medical roller to create multiple tiny punctures into the skin to induce new collagen growth to repair acne scarring and improve the skins appearance.

Skin needling has been used for many years and first popularised by a South African plastic surgeon Dr Des Fernandez.

How does skin needling improve acne scars?

The process of skin needling induces collagen production which creates progressive repair and support under depressed acne scars. A series of treatments is required, and results are generally seen after about 6 weeks, though the new collagen production continues for 12 months after the last treatment.

  • All patients will show some improvement, however how much varies.
  • Some people will achieve a 75-90% improvement in the appearance of scars.
  • Skin Needling is safe on Asian and dark skin types.

    NEW: Cosmetic Fillers For Hands

The hands along with the neck and chest are areas that show visible aging. Much of this is from sun exsposure and changes in pigmentation. However fat tissue loss occurs as we age especially in the hands making them appear boney and the skin crepy, wrinkled and dry. Cosmetic Fillers are now being used to restore a more youthful appearance to hands.

There are a couple of choices currently available and vary in treatment outcome and cost.

    Treatment For Aged Looking Hand

Hand rejuvenation describes treatments to make hands appear more youthful. This can involve injectable fillers to plump up the hands, treatment of pigmentation spots or combinations of both.

What makes the hands look aged?

Principally aging of hands is caused from sun damage. The UV radiation not only causes unsightly pigmentation but leads to loss of skin collagen and elastin to make them appear wrinkled and dry.

However the most common concern with aging hands is that they appear veinier and thin. As we get less young the fat volume decreases, because the hands have less fat than other parts of the body our hands take on a gaunt look.

We are often asked ‘how can I get rid of the veins on my hands’ however you do not want to get rid of the veins, but fill the tissue around it, so they are less noticeable.

    Hand Rejuvenation Brisbane

Restore youthful volume to the hands with injectable fillers.

Volume loss in the hands can be replaced with injectable dermal fillers. This is a new treatment. Until recently injectable fillers where used prominently on the face, however our hands also age and betray our age, so it is logical that fillers are now used to restore more youthful looking hands.

How To Get Rid Of Blackheads

Getting rid of blackheads is relatively easy, however conventional treatments of pore strips, scrubs and facials will not work, except to temporarily extract the contents. Blackheads are caused from a build up of sebum (oil) in the skin pores and blockage of the pore with exfoliated dead skin cells. Being open to air, the sebum and clogged material oxidise and turns dark. Hence the term blackhead.

Blackhead are clogged pores and treatment of blackheads involves exfoliation of pore contents.

How To Get Rid Of Blackheads

Why Conventional Treatments Do Not Get Rid Of Blackheads.

  • Pore strips can only empty the pore temporarily. Because they do nothing to exfoliate or stabilise the pore lining the blackhead will accumulate again very quickly.
  • Extracting the contents with facials also only help temporarily
  • Scrubs only work on the surface and have no hope of cleaning out the pore: these are useless.
  • Salicylic Acid Exfoliates The Pore

BHA (beta hydroxy acid) or Salicylic Acid is the only product that will penetrate the oil in the oil gland and exfoliate the contents and pore lining. Because it progressively exfoliates and empties the pore, the pore is able to shrink and become more refined.

Salicylic acid products needs to be concentration of 1-2% in ph approximately 3. Very few products even if they say they contain salicylic acid will be of sufficient concentration or at appropriate ph to work.

We sell a very good BHA gel.

We sell a very good Salicylic acid gel: Cost $36, 2% concerntration and correct ph. Research has shown that appropriate BHA Gels will start to work within hours of putting on skin. They can be applied once or twice daily and progressively will clear and refine pores over coming weeks and months. It is safe to use long term as part of skin routine.

In early stages if you want a really speedy clearance of blackheads combine the salicylic acid gel with microdermabrasion. SIMPLE.

Call 07 33505447 to try 2% Salicylic Acid Gel and book your microdermabrasion for really rapid clearance of blackheads.
